I Can Manifest Money. Why Not Health?
What I finally asked myself after five years of supplements, cleanses, and protocols. The spiritual layer I ignored while bootstrapping my way back to health.
Five years.
That’s how long it’s been since mold exposure wrecked my brain, my energy, and my body.
In that time, I’ve thrown everything at this. Supplements. Cleanses. Detox therapies. Sauna. Movement. I have been relentless about bootstrapping my way back to health.
The wellness world trains us to think in protocols. Do more. Try harder. Stack another intervention. Figure out the missing piece.
I did all of that.
I’m about 85% better. Maybe 90% on a good day.
Yet somewhere along the way, it struck me: I’ve never once asked Creator (God, Source, Higher Power, the Universe) for healing.
I believe in manifesting money. Opportunity. Connection. I’ve seen those things show up.
So why not health? Why have I never actually asked?
Maybe I believe I haven’t earned it yet. Maybe I think it’s too big of an ask. Maybe I hold some old program that says miraculous healing isn’t possible—or isn’t possible for me.
I recently read an article on quantum states and free will that stopped me in my tracks. The idea that consciousness isn’t just observing reality. It’s collapsing it. Selecting it. Authoring it.
If that’s true, then healing isn’t just about removing toxins or fixing pathways. It’s about what we believe is available to us.
We’re not just observing our health. We’re actively writing it.
That’s why I keep coming back to ThetaHealing®—not as a replacement for the physical work, but as a way to find the invisible programs running underneath it. The beliefs I absorbed before I could choose. The patterns keeping me stuck at 85%.
So I got curious. No judgment. Just some honest questions:
What have I gained from being sick? What has illness protected me from? What do I believe that’s held me back from going all the way through?
If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
What This Is NOT About
Let me be clear:
I don’t believe we make ourselves sick. I don’t believe the mind alone heals everything. I don’t believe that if you’re not healing, you’re “doing it wrong.”
That’s guru 💩.
There’s no blame for illness or for not healing on a certain timeline. If some rigid protocol didn’t work for you, that’s not failure. That’s information.
This is about looking deeper—at an emotional or spiritual layer—and seeing what beliefs may be holding the pattern stuck in your body and mind.
Not blame. Not shame. Just awareness.
Because sometimes the thing blocking healing isn’t physical. It’s invisible. Running in the background. No protocol can touch it.
The Programs Running in the Background
Before we can talk, think, or reason—we absorb.
From family. From environment. From early experiences. We take on beliefs about who we are, what we deserve, and how the world works.
These beliefs become programs—patterns running silently in our nervous system and subconscious.
They shape our biology, behavior, and capacity to heal.
Most of us don’t even know they’re there.
These aren’t character flaws. They’re software installed before you could consent.
Common Beliefs That Block Healing
Here’s what I see over and over—both in myself and in the people I work with:
About Your Body:
“I’m broken and need fixing.”
“My symptoms mean I’m doing something wrong.”
“I can’t trust my body.”
About Your Worth:
“I don’t deserve to feel good.”
“I’m only valuable when I’m useful.”
“My worth is tied to how much I do.”
About Rest and Self-Care:
“I have to earn my rest.”
“If I rest, I’ll fall behind.”
“Helping others is more important than caring for myself.”
About Time and Progress:
“I should be done with this by now.”
“It’s taking too long.”
“I’m so behind again.”
“Healing is hard and takes a long time.”
“It’s genetic, there’s nothing I can do.”
About Effort:
“I have to do more to feel okay.”
“I’ve tried everything and nothing works.”
“If I let go, everything will fall apart.”
Sound familiar?
The Messages of Illness
Here’s the part we don’t talk about enough:
Your body isn’t betraying you. It’s communicating.
Symptoms are not punishments—they’re invitations to listen.
This isn’t about healing through force or willpower. It’s about listening to what the illness is trying to tell you.
Sometimes the symptom persists because the message hasn’t been received yet.
Not because you’re failing. Because something deeper is asking for attention.
Signs You Might Have Beliefs Holding Healing Stuck
This might be you if:
You’ve done “all the things” and get almost better
You unconsciously skip meals, delay rest, or ignore body signals
You feel guilt when you prioritize yourself
Progress feels fragile—like it could slip away any moment
Part of you believes healing is supposed to be hard
You’ve noticed patterns repeating—symptoms returning even after protocols
You feel resistance to slowing down or being still
You don’t fully trust your body
Somewhere deep down, being sick feels… safer
That last one’s a bit spicy. 😤
It’s often the most important one.
When Illness Becomes a Strategy
I recently did some deep belief work on root-level patterns around self-care, guilt, and old childhood programming. I’m not going to share the specifics—that’s mine to hold.
What I will share is this:
Sometimes we learn early that being unwell gets us something we desperately need. Attention. Rest. Love. An excuse to say no.
Not because we’re manipulative. Because we were brilliant children solving an impossible problem with the only tools we had.
That pattern can still be running decades later.
Illness becomes a subconscious strategy for boundaries, love, or permission to stop.
That’s not weakness. That’s a survival adaptation. It won’t let go until it’s seen, thanked, and replaced with something better.
A Different Lens: ThetaHealing
One of the tools I use to look at this layer is ThetaHealing®.
ThetaHealing is a meditation technique and spiritual philosophy that uses focused thought and prayer. It’s always taught to be used in conjunction with conventional medicine—not instead of it.
What I love about this work is that it doesn’t pathologize you.
Many people come to ThetaHealing searching for answers—what they discover is awareness. They begin to recognize repeating patterns, emotional reactions they cannot explain, and beliefs they didn’t know they were carrying.
Through connection to the Creator, they realize these patterns were learned—and what was learned can be changed.
Rather than struggling to fix themselves, they begin to understand.
Those insights create awareness and epiphanies that can facilitate real change.
What to Do Next
You can’t think your way out of subconscious programs. That’s why this work often requires a guide—someone who can help you see what’s hiding in the blind spot.
It takes self-honesty. Often, it takes support.
If any of this landed—if you recognized yourself somewhere in these words—know this:
You’re not broken. You’re not behind. You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just bumping into a layer that most protocols don’t address.
That layer is ready to be seen.

This article really hit home for me, and I felt very emotional reading it. Deep down I’ve always known these things, but somehow I still found ways to ignore them. Sometimes we need to hear the same truth over and over, just expressed in a different way, before it finally sinks in. Thank you for sharing this. It truly resonated with me.
